Melissa (Ellen) McMullan “Missy” Edwards, 59, of Apex, NC, passed away on Friday November 3, 2017.

Missy was born on Tuesday January 30, 1958 in South Carolina, a daughter of Edward Brooke McMullan and Doris Louise Lemly McMullan.

Missy was a 1976 graduate of Waynesboro High School and a 1981 graduate of James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology.

Missy married Terry Gilmore Edwards on Saturday April 10, 1982 at Waynesboro, VA.

Missy was predeceased by her parents.

Missy is survived by her husband, Terry Gilmore Edwards of Apex, NC; and her sisters, Nan Brooke McMullan of Staunton, VA and Kathryn Lynn McMullan Lahey (Michael) of Broomfield, CO.
